Terminal activities on the rise

This past year, the volume of Gosselin’s crane activities rose by 27%, and stacker movements even showed a 50% increase. High time to call in the reinforcements and rejuvenate the fleet. On Friday, January 8, a new reach stacker was delivered to the Gosselin container terminal, equipped with the latest technical features such as a soft-landing system and Teflon soundproofing.

Powered by a six-cylinder turbo engine and weighing in at 69.4 tons with a maximum hoisting capacity of 45 tons, the stacker will undoubtedly quickly prove its worth. The continuous expansion of terminal activities has also meant an increase in the number of stackers, bringing the total to six.

Enthusiastic team at the helm

Growth and expansion are only possible when you have a team that gives it their all. A big thank-you to everyone who has helped elevate the terminal activities to a higher plane, and a special thanks to our team of drivers who put in maximum effort day after day: Marianne, Dennis, Wesley, Steve, Alex, Patrick, Stefan and Andrei.

Pairi Daiza collaboration - A cactus of considerable size

The most remarkable transport that Gosselin carried out in its collaboration with Pairi Daiza? Without a doubt, the impressive cactus, Pachycereus pringlei, from Tenerife, one of the most emblematic plants of the world’s largest tropical greenhouse, Edenya.
