Wrapped, stuffed, transported

For the customer Eco-Modal, Gosselin picked up a tank truck which was then wrapped in shrink wrap and stuffed onto a 40ft flatbed. The assignment resulted in a great collaboration between the exceptional transport team and the container terminal.

"The truck weighs about 14,600 kilograms and is more than 10 meters long in total," explains Koen Lauryssen, Manager of Exceptional Transport. "At the request of the customer, we completely wrapped it in shrink wrap. It was then placed on a 40ft flatbed using specialized forklifts for transport to New Caledonia."

"Because we have our own terminal, we were able to place the truck onto a barge with a crane and transport it to the port via inland waterways. Assignments like this are perfect for Gosselin because we can offer a complete service with our different departments and fully take care of our customers' needs."

Pairi Daiza collaboration - A cactus of considerable size

The most remarkable transport that Gosselin carried out in its collaboration with Pairi Daiza? Without a doubt, the impressive cactus, Pachycereus pringlei, from Tenerife, one of the most emblematic plants of the world’s largest tropical greenhouse, Edenya.
